Protests Are Not A Christmas Party, Sowore Should At Best Come To Nigeria – Adams Oshiomhole

The former executive Governor of Edo state and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole has asked the former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore to come back to Nigeria amidst the ongoing nationwide protests.

The Sun reported that Adams Oshiomhole, a former President of the Nigerian Labour Congress stated this when he appeared on Arise Television on Wednesday.

Recall that many states across the federation have been unsettled by the ongoing nationwide hunger and hardship protest by the Nigerian youths to draw the federal and state governments’ attention to the worsening plight of the citizens.

Senator Adams Oshiomhole said; “Protests are not a Christmas party. Sowore should at best come to Nigeria…when I was NLC President, Obasanjo increased fuel price to a level I considered injurious to our economy from N10 to N30, I came back from Geneva where I was a board member of International Labour Organisation, because for me if am not home, what am I doing in Geneva, I came back home. Let us lead from the front and I told my colleagues let’s go to Abuja”
