Reason Why DJ Switch Was Arrèsted In Lagos

Information reaching Becksblog.com.ng, that DJ Switch, also known with her real name as Obianuju Catherine Udeh, a prominent Nigerian DJ, has been detained by the police in Lagos and is being transported to the magistrate court in Eti Osa.

According to police sources, DJ Switch visited the police in Elemoro, Ajah on April 15 to report a man who allegedly defrauded her. The man was promptly arrested and has since been in police custody.

Following this, DJ Switch was summoned on April 17 to clarify her desired outcome regarding the accused— whether she wanted him charged or released on bail within the legal 48-hour detention period.

Allegedly, DJ Switch insisted on a recorded apology from the accused, which he refused.

Consequently, the police decided to pursue legal action since no agreement was reached.

As the police were preparing to transport the accused to court, DJ Switch purportedly obstructed their exit with her vehicle and allegedly assaulted female officers involved in the case.

Subsequently, she was arrested for obstructing police duties, resisting arrest, and assaulting officers. The accused was then taken to court and remanded in prison custody.

DJ Switch is currently en route to the Magistrate court in Eti-Osa, where she will face charges of obstructing police duties and assaulting officers.
