REVEALED: See How Much Each State Governor Collected From Federal Govt In July 2024
It’s no longer news that federal government has distributed several billions to state Governors from the monthly FAC allocation
In Anambra alone 7.42 Billion for Local Government. Imo has 7.82 Billion naira. A difference of 400 Million. Anambra is second in the South East in terms of Local Government Allocations.
The same month in preview, Anambra State got 11.72 Billion as Federal Allocation minus 13% Derivation. The internal Generated revenue is not there.
Yet the minimum wage in Anambra State is N24,500.00. the New Minimum wage of N70,000.00, Governor of the State is not ready to pay it.
All the 36 Governors with FCT received over N543 Billion from the Federal Government recently with each State receiving not less than N15 Billion. Anambra is yet to receive Ndi own. We make bold to ask, what happened? Where was our professor Governor with his report, so that what will be due to Ndi Anambra, will come to them.
They also received 25 Trucks of Rice as Palliatives for their people. Yet all these trucks were nowhere to be found.
And Governor Soludo is not ready to conduct Local Government Elections.
It is evidently clear that the Money Governor Soludo received in his Two years plus in Office is what Governor Ngige and Peter Obi received in their 11 years and 5 months in Office.
Today, they go about commissioning roads , schools and other infrastructures built by Wealthy Anambra Citizens in the name of Public -Private Community Development. I make bold to ask, where is the partnership? Did Anambra State Government provide any incentive for the Wealthy individual or contribute any fund or donate one Caterpillar for the purpose. So why deceive Ndi Anambra with Long grammar of partnership.
With all these funds available to Our Governor, many communities do not have access roads. Many are under the threat of Insecurity.
With all these funds available from the centre, no IGR here. We still have Anambra security Trust Fund, yet Insecurity has taken over the State. Today, Ndi Anambra do their Burial and wedding Ceremonies in Enugu. Even our Governor is planning his daughter’s wedding in Abuja. What does that show, total collapse of the System.
In the last two weeks, over 11 people have been murdered in Awka in a broadlight. Over 10 persons have been kidnapped in and around Dubai Estate Axis and Enugwu-Agidi. Yet, no solution. On Friday, a Young man escaped from his abductors, whom he said were mainly Fulani herdsmen within that axis. Yet no solution at sight. Today in Awka, people are being robbed of their valuables. Once it is 8pm, the State Capital looks like a deserted area. Old Zik Avenue is a dead zone. People cannot go to ATM to withdraw money at Night and POS business owners closes once it is 7pm in Awka.
Ndi Anambra, for how long are we going to continue like this. It is very clear that the solution has failed to provide Solutions. Building Roads is not the solution to our problem. People must be alive to use those roads.
Even some of these roads are what I call POLITICAL ROADS. The more you look, the less you road road construction in Anambra. Many of the roads were tagged to last 25 years.many of them cannot last one rainy season. It is the more you look, the less you see scenario as you Drive from Roban Stores down to Tipper Garage and the same thing from Five Start down to Millennium. Once you enter these roads, you think it is like that to where it ended. You will be highly disappointed. The amount of Money invested in the media to advertise all these uncompleted Roads, is enough to complete the roads.
Ndi Anambra, the time is right to get rid of APGA. The time is right to test another Credible alternative. Enough of these NATAD people. It is time for Home grown. It is time for Ndi Anambra to elect someone who has a stake in the State. Some of these people we have voted in the past has no stake. Why Ndi Anambra witnessed food governance under Chris Ngige and Mr Peter Obi was very simple. They are local people. They have interest in their various communities and business communities. Dr Chris Ngige was Former PG of his Community and a Local Politician in Anambra. He knows the terrain. Mr Peter Obi is an International Business based in Anambra. All his important business has a destination point in Anambra.
Enough of importing people to come and rule Ndi Anambra. Let us elect Home bred with a local sense. Who understands the people and who can use the people’s Money to work for them
