Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appointed Pelumi Nubi, a UK-based Nigerian who embarked on a remarkable journey from Lagos to London, as a Tourism Ambassador for Lagos State.
During a meeting with Pelumi Nubi, the travel content creator, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed admiration for her adventurous spirit and commitment to promoting tourism.
He announced that the state would cover the entire cost of her travel expenses in addition to gifting her a new apartment and a car.
The Senior Special Assistant on New Media shared the news to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Jubril Gawat, on social media.
”As a Tourism Ambassador, Pelumi Nubi will continue to inspire others with her adventurous endeavours and showcase the beauty of Lagos to the world,” the governor said.
