Senator threatens Legal action over s3x tape allegations
Former Adamawa North Senator, Elisha Abbo, has issued a legal ultimatum to Wange David following her allegations that they created multiple sex tapes together, one of which was allegedly leaked online.
In a recent interview, David claimed that she and Abbo made 32 sex tapes, accusing him of leaking one of the videos, as he was the only person with access to it.
Abbo has denied the accusations, with his lawyer, Odiyowvi Osusu, asserting that the allegations have severely harmed the former senator’s reputation and misled the public.
The legal notice specifies that the video was posted on the “Naija Police: U” platform on September 4, 2024, followed by an interview aired by TrustTV News on YouTube the next day.
Abbo’s legal team has demanded a public retraction and apology from David within 72 hours.
The apology must be broadcast on national television, published in three major newspapers, and shared on the same platforms where the original content appeared. The retraction terms are subject to approval by Abbo’s lawyers.
If David fails to comply, Abbo will pursue legal action, seeking damages for libel, a court injunction to prevent further defamatory statements, and a court-ordered apology.
