Shake-up in as Police Commission announces movement of four CPs to State commands

On Wednesday, October 2, the Police Service Commission (PSC) announced the appointments of four Commissioners of Police to lead various State Commands across the nation.

CP Abaniwonda Olufemi has been reassigned to the Delta State Command after recently serving in Rivers State.

CP Peter Ukachi Opara has officially been assigned to the Cross Rivers State Command, following his earlier appointment as Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, then Delta State.

Additionally, CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala from Katsina State will now head the Rivers State Command, while Gyogon Augustine Grimah from Nasarawa State has been assigned to the Kaduna State Command.

Ikechukwu Ani, the head of press and public relations, noted that these changes have been communicated to the Inspector-General of Police for implementation in a letter signed by Commission Chairman DIG Hashimu Argungu.
