“Around December last year, I was invited by the EFCC. They had a petition against me by my twin brother. I didn’t expect it to be related to fraud or drugs; I never thought it would come to that. I assumed it was just about the music, but when I got there, they started saying things like, ‘What did you do? You’re gonna go to jail for 20 years.’ I asked them what it was about, and they told me everything. They had already printed all my account statements, and I explained everything I knew. The first thing that came to my mind was, ‘What if I were a bad person scamming people? Would my own blood brother just finish me?’

Then they began an investigation, and that’s when I realized the whole thing was really serious. They told me I needed to get an agent and a lawyer, and things like that. Then just last month, they called me and my brother and told us they didn’t find any evidence against me, and my name was cleared. This whole thing happened because of my brother’s lifestyle. He discovered I was richer than him because I was saving and investing money while he was squandering his. Even after they found me innocent of all the accusations, my brother couldn’t even tell me, ‘I’m sorry.’ I’m not saying this to make my brother look bad in front of the public, but I’m saying this because he was the first to bring it out here.”
