The first Innoson electric car made in Nnewi Igboland Nigeria.

The initial batch of IVM electric cars has been completely sold out.

Yesterday, I posted an unedited video of where I test drove the new Innoson Electric Vehicles. As well vast in media and PR, I knew that posting an unedited video, with noise on the background and I pretending to make calls will immediately generate a lots of reactions. Any experienced media person knows that what sells in news is bad news and not good news. I know quite well that the criticism that will come with the video will make it trend nationally, thereby giving the video, as well as the car a much needed free publicity than what a more professionally edited video would have done.

For benefit of doubt, the new Innoson Electric Vehicles as well the one I test drove hasn’t been certified and approved by the Innoson Vehicle quality control department for sales. It is still undergoing the final round of checks. More so it hasn’t been officially announced or launched by the company, but I needed to create a buzz before the official announcement and then I did my magic.

Since yesterday and today, we have received hundreds of calls and upfront payment from interested clients who wants to be the first set to drive the Innoson Electric Vehicle. My inbox were filled with enquires on the prices. The first set which are few in numbers are now currently sold out.
