The Incredible Power Mike: A Wrestling Icon

In the 1970s, Chief Michael Okpala, aka Power Mike, ruled the wrestling world. He retired undefeated, a feat that still astonishes fans.

Power Mike’s journey began in Neni, Anambra State, where he discovered his passion for sports. He started as a boxer, mentored by the legendary Dick Tiger, before becoming a showmanship sensation.

With his superhuman strength, Power Mike mesmerized audiences worldwide, bending nails and lifting heavy men with ease.

He then conquered the wrestling world, defeating global superstars and promoting international matches.

Tributes poured in, including a song by Okonkwo Asah. Though he passed away in 2004, Power Mike’s legacy lives on.
