The Invaders Said They Were Looking For Seditious Materials Used For #EndBadGovernance Protests- NLC

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has stated that those who invaded the national headquarters in Abuja claimed they were looking for seditious materials used for #EndBadGovernance protests.

This statement was contained in a report that was published by VANGUARD.

According to NLC, the security operatives who invaded the headquarters swooped on the 10th floor and arrested the security personnel that was on duty. After he was arrested, he was told to provide the keys to the offices on the second floor but when he told them he didn’t have the keys, they broke into the floor and ransacked the bookshop.

The NLC claimed that the invaders took hundreds of books and publications from the bookshop before leaving.

The NLC was quoted as saying that;

“The security operatives, some from the Nigeria Police Force, swooped on the 10th Floor of the NLC and arrested the security operative on duty and then commandeered him to the second floor where he was asked to produce the keys to the offices. When he told them that he had no such keys on him, they broke into the floor and ransacked the bookshop on the 2nd floor carting away hundreds of books and other publications. The invading troop claimed that they were looking for seditious materials used for the#EndBadGoveranance Protests”.
