There is a secret Govt memo warning authorities to be careful of igbos – Ex–Presidential candidate alleges

Former presidential candidate and activist, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that there is a covert government directive warning authorities to “be careful of Igbos.”

Speaking candidly on a recent episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel (Nedu), Sowore argued that the Igbos cannot thrive within Nigeria’s current political and economic system.

Sowore, who has long been a vocal critic of Nigeria’s political structure, suggested that the only way for the Igbos to flourish is through the country’s disintegration.

He emphasised that the current setup is unsustainable for the region and that a breakup would be essential for their survival and growth.

The claim of a secret memo and his call for Nigeria’s dissolution have sparked renewed conversations about the future of the country and the ongoing challenges faced by various ethnic groups, particularly the Igbos, in the current political climate.

He said, “Nigeria has an Igbo problem. There is a secret memo in the government to be careful of Igbos. The memo is against giving the Igbos political positions and opportunities.

“For an Igbo man to survive in Nigeria as it is currently put together, Nigeria must break.”
