Three dismissed Police officers arraigned for murder, remanded in Prison custody
The Kwara State Police Command has revealed that the three officers recently dismissed over the murder of a student of Kwara state polytechnic, Ilorin the state capital, Quoyum Ishola, has been arraigned and remanded.
This was made known via a statement by the state police public relations officer, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyem, on Friday October 18.
She disclosed that the three officers, Abiodun Kayode, James Emmanuel, and Oni Philip, face charges of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.
The statement reads: “The Kwara State Police Command wishes to inform the public that the three dismissed officers, Mr Abiodun Kayode, Mr James Emmanuel, and Mr Oni Philip, have been charged to court on 16th October, 2024.
“They face charges of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide in connection with the death of Qoyum Abdulyekeen Ishola. They have been remanded in prison custody pending further court proceedings.”
