Actor and film director, Tobi Makinde comes to the defence of acclaimed actress Funke Akindele in response to allegations of snubbing the late actress Jumoke Aderounmu.
This came after Jumoke’s brother took to social media to criticize Funke, accusing her of ignoring the actress during a time of need.
Tobi Makinde refuted claims that Funke mistreats her staff, emphasizing that he owes much of his success to her love, guidance, and mentorship.
He expressed gratitude for her kindness and stressed that her affectionate support has been invaluable to him.
Tobi further conveyed admiration for the mother of two, highlighting her strong faith and resilience against adversity, believing that no harm can prevail against her and her family.
In his words;
“Mama I love you always…You’re God’s delight and no weapon fashioned against you and your household shall prosper in Jesus’ name. You have been so kind to me and your love for me is not something I will forget in a hurry. I wouldn’t be who I am today without your love, training, and tutelage. Thank you for all you do ma! I love you Mama @funkejenifaakindele”.
It is worth noting that Jumoke Aderounmu passed on some days ago following an illness.
