Tragic Accident Claims Lives of All Passengers in Abakaliki
A tragic accident in Abakaliki yesterday has claimed the lives of all passengers in an 18-seater bus, contrary to initial reports indicating that only five people had died. The incident occurred near G-Hostel junction, where all passengers were reportedly burnt beyond recognition.
According to sources, the bus driver had converted the vehicle from petrol to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), a modification which may have contributed to the devastating outcome.
