VDM Releases Alleged Bobrisky Call Recording, Sparking EFCC Investigation

In a dramatic turn of events, VDM has released an audio recording allegedly featuring popular Nigerian internet personality Bobrisky, where he is heard admitting to bribing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges against him. The same recording reportedly reveals Bobrisky’s claim of offering ₦10 million to Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, to “sort things out” and expedite his release before completing his sentence.

In a shocking further allegation, Bobrisky is said to have disclosed arrangements made through his godfather, involving control general of Nigeria Prisons. The arrangement allegedly provided him with accommodation in a newly built house within the prison facility, potentially suggesting preferential treatment.

Reacting swiftly to these claims, the EFCC Chairman has reportedly ordered an investigation into the ₦15 million bribery allegation against Bobrisky.

The release of this audio comes after a separate financial dispute involving Bobrisky. He had allegedly failed to repay ₦4 million owed to an individual, who took the matter to VDM. When VDM approached him, Bobrisky initially denied owing the sum, but within an hour of the call recording’s release and VDM’s promise of more revelations, Bobrisky reportedly paid the debt in full and issued an apology.

This unfolding scandal has ignited public interest, with many awaiting further developments as authorities delve into the claims.
