Wayne Rooney’s next managerial job revealed

Former Manchester United captain, Wayne Rooney, looks set for a return to management with Championship side, Plymouth Argyle.

Rooney has not coached any team since he was sacked at Birmingham City.

But he has been approached by Plymouth and could take over the team, according to the UK Telegraph.

Plymouth are in need of a new man in charge after sacking Ian Foster after just three months in charge.

Foster was dismissed in April after a run of eight losses in 11 games.

The Pilgrims did manage to rally after his departure and avoided relegation into League One.

Rooney’s relationship with Plymouth’s director of football Neil Dewsnip may help him return to management, as they have a “close relationship” since their time together at Everton.
