“We Saw It Live In Oyo And Kano” – Nigerians Share Videos, Photos Of Eclipse Of The Sun

Some Nigerians have shared pictures and videos of the solar eclipse they apparently witnessed in their respective areas.

According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), a total solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, briefly blocking the sun’s light.

Online images shared by multiple Nigerians in Oyo and Kano states purportedly depict their observations during the short-lived eclipse.

Despite being primarily visible in the Pacific region, including Mexico, Canada, and over ten US states, some Nigerians also experienced the eclipse to some degree.
