He made his debut with the Houston Oilers by playing two seasons with them. He then served as the quarterback player for the Tennessee Titans. Till 2005, Steve played for the Titans. Subsequently, he was with the Baltimore Ravens till he retired from sports in 2008.

Who Are His Children?

On June 21st, 1997, he married Mechelle McNair and the couple had two sons. Their names are Tyler James McNair and Trenton Jon McNair. McNair also had two more sons named Steven O’Brian McNair and Steve LaTreal McNair Jr.

They were from two different women before he married Mechelle. After Steve’s death, Mechelle did not marry again. She holds a degree in nursing.

Steve LaTreal played as a wideout at the Oak Grove High School which is situated in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After completing high school, Steve became a part of the Southern Mississippi team to play the ball.

He got a degree in biology and is a full-time dancer in Hollywood. Trenton is the younger child of Steve and he went to PBA University. He stands at 6 ‘4’ and is using his towering personality to do well in basketball.

Steve McNair was shot dead by a waitress named Sahel Kazemi aka Jenni on July 4th, 2009. Afterward, she ended up shooting herself at his house. The authorities later found out that the two were in a relationship.

The text messages exchanged between them revealed that Jenni was under financial stress and she also suspected that he was seeing another woman. At the time of his death, Steve was 36 while the girl was 20. Just before the accident, cops had pulled her over when she was driving a Cadillac that was registered under Steve and her name.

The authorities froze his assets after his demise because of a lack of testament. Mechelle asked a judge in Nashville who then ordered some of the portions to be unfrozen so that she could take care of her children.
