“Yoruba Influencers Plot Mass Igbo Exodus: ‘Igbo Must Go!’
During their meeting, they agreed to organize a massive protest in Lagos, demanding that all Igbos leave the city. They argued that Ndígbo have no respect for their kings, their culture, and other aspects of their heritage. They stated that it doesn’t matter how much the Igbos have invested in Lagos; they must leave. They claimed that Lagos is their land, which their grandfathers fought for, and they will not sit idly by and allow the Ndígbo to take it from them. They asserted that no matter how much land the Igbos have acquired in Lagos, it all has an expiry date, and those lands must be retrieved from them. They concluded their discussion with these points.
