Isreal Afeare, better known as Isreal DMW, Davido’s logistics manager, recently shared insights into his marriage with his estranged wife Sheila, disclosing how she changed behavior after marriage.
According to a video interview, Isreal DMW said “After I married my wife, as a prayerful pastor daughter, she changed & stopped praying”
In a live video interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Isreal shed light on the changes in Sheila’s behavior following their marriage.
Contrary to what the wife said about the return of the bride price, Isreal clarified that the bride price was not returned but was sent out via transfer, an action he claims he has never seen in his life.
He emphasized his intention to marry right and revealed that he waited until he found Sheila, whom he believed would make a good wife after meeting her in her father’s church.
Isreal described Sheila as a devout churchgoer who actively participated in prayer sessions and evangelism, traits he admired and believed would contribute to a harmonious marriage.However, after tying the knot, Isreal noticed a a shift in Sheila’s Behavior.
According to Isreal, Sheila’s religious practices dwindled post-marriage as she ceased praying, engaging in evangelism, and partaking in church activities.
Moreover, she changed her Instagram handle to “Your Excellency” and began associating with what Isreal referred to as “Slay Queens,”
Despite these changes, Isreal emphasized that he was never subjected to abuse or mistreat her. He asserted that he treated her with kindness and provided for her needs throughout their marriage.
When questioned about why the family did not intervene to resolve the marital issues, Isreal attributed the lack of resolution to the quality of his in-laws.
He said that just as men pray for good wives, they should also pray for supportive and understanding in-laws to facilitate marital harmony.
