Actress Rahama Sadau gets appointment in Vice President’s office

Popular Nollywood/Kannywood actress and film maker, Rahama Sadau, has been appointed by the office of the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, to serve on the Technical Committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise programme (iDICE).

iDICE is resident in the office of Vice President, Kashim Shettima.

The committee was inaugurated on Wednesday by Vice President Shettima at the State House in Abuja.

The Technical Committee on the iDICE programme is chaired by the Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters (Office of The Vice President) Tope Kolade Fasua.

The committee holds the second highest significance within the iDICE initiative and is tasked with offering strategic, technical and operational assistance to the Programme Corporation Unit, PCU and the Fund Advisory Board.

Earlier this year, President Bola Tinubu appointed popular Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu as MD of Nigerian Film Corporation. Many of such appointments are said to be on the way as government is making effort to reposition the entertainment industry and encourage youth participation in governance.
