Fellow Brazilian Alexandre Pato, who spent a short time on loan at Chelsea, has revealed a funny way Costa handled the pressure at the time.
Alexandre Pato has looked back on his time at Chelsea, revealing how Diego Costa combated the criticism from the media aimed at the striker and the club.
Pato said of Diego Costa: “The press was criticising, the fans were cursing and he was always calm.
“I asked him, how can he deal with the pressure, he answered, ‘Pato, I don’t understand anything, I don’t speak English’.”
