The Ogun State Police Command has advised women to be wary of the risks involved in engaging in casual sexual encounters with unfamiliar individuals.
The term “hooking up” refers to meeting someone, either new or known, and engaging in sexual activity without any commitment to a relationship.
This cautionary message was shared through the command’s official social media account on April 2nd.
The caption read, “Avoid being a victim of ritual killing: Hook up and it’s dangers!
“You may go and never return. Girls wake up! Young girls, do you know who you are being hooked up to?
“That person may exchange your beautiful head for peanuts. All that glitters is not gold!”
