EPL Officially Announces the Winners of the Golden Boot, Playmaker Award, and the Golden Glove

At the end of the 2023-24 season, a number of significant individual awards were announced. Erling Haaland of Manchester City was officially named the English Premier League Golden Boot winner following the last game.

This esteemed accolade was bestowed upon the Norwegian striker for the second year in a row due to his 27 goals scored during the season. Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa was named the Playmaker Award winner, according to the English Premier League’s official Twitter account. With 19 goals and 13 assists, Watkins had a spectacular season.

He beat off rivals like Cole Palmer of Chelsea, Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United, and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City in terms of assists, and so won the title. The Golden Glove was also given to David Raya, the custodian for Arsenal. The former Brentford player had an outstanding season, and he eventually replaced Ramsdale as Arsenal’s starting custodian.

Among his competitors, Raya surpassed Alisson Becker of Liverpool, Bernd Leno of Fulham, and André Onana of Manchester United to win the accolade with 16 clean sheets. The outstanding play of these players during the season has been recognised with these awards, which serve as a tribute to their immense contributions to their teams.
