“When I met the prince of Saudi Arabia, he was just speechless. While I was moving in the stręets of London, everybody was just screamîng “OBO, Davido, 001.” And taking pictures. And then the prince of Saudi Arabia heard how everyone was shoutîng my name and left his hotel and quickly drove to where I was.
When he arrived,he introduced himself to me and told me that the king of Saudi Arabia and the entire royal family including him can’t do a day without my music. He even told me that the king only uses my music as his ringtone and has instructed his entire family to do same. And I was like wow, so I’m really this big!?
Then he beggęd for a picture and after we took the picture he invited me to Saudi Arabia to come perform for the royal family and the timing really worked out well because I’ve been planning on going to Saudi Arabia. That’s what made me realize that I’m the king of Nigeria.” Davido
