Outgoing Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gives fans a short trip to his now former office

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp took a last trip into his office as he prepares for his last game with Liverpool.

The German tactician had his last training session with the team as he prepares for his departure.

The news that their German manager, who had led the Reds for nine years, was set to quit Anfield at the end of the current season stunned the team in January.

In his final match on Sunday, Klopp-who leaves after winning the Carabao Cup in February-will bid the Kop an emotional farewell.

Klopp gives fans office trip

Klopp surprised supporters by joining Instagram ahead of his grand finale tomorrow and then releasing a heartfelt parting video.

According to reports from the Sun, he released another video in which he gave fans a peek inside his office at the team’s practice facility.

It also demonstrated that, when he got set to depart the Reds’ headquarters for the last time, he had already boxed up his belongings.

Klopp said in the video, “So, here I am, last day in the office. Last session done and it was strange I would say.

“Few of the coaches got quite emotional, I would so. I didn’t quite yet. I told myself that tomorrow’s a game and after that is holiday.

“Obviously, I decide what I think until I get overwhelmed tomorrow. So, I will leave this place which is… erm… yeah… an interesting experience I would say.”

He then mover the camera to a window overlooking one of Kirkby’s green pitches before revealing a number of boxes filled with his possessions and mementos before concluding with a sly grin and a “ay-ay-ay-ay-ay.”

During his tenure with the team, Klopp led Liverpool to both Premier League and Champions League triumphs.
