Popular market in Borno devastated by fire yet again

Once more, tragedy struck the heart of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, as fire ravaged the renowned Gamboru market located in the Customs area.

The biggest perishable goods market in Maiduguri has faced similar calamities on March 18, 2023, and Nov. 13, 2023, leaving the community reeling from repeated misfortune.

The blaze, which erupted on a fateful Wednesday around 10 pm, was swiftly contained by the diligent efforts of the fire service personnel.
