Burna Boy, the Nigerian musician also known as Damini Ogulu, has explained his decision to abstain from participating in online giveaways.
During an Instagram live session, he expressed his viewpoint, stating that he views involvement in online giveaways as a means to seek attention or ‘chase clout.’
He further stressed that he opts out of online giveaways because he holds the belief that Instagram and social media users are not the ones who hold genuine importance to him.
While speaking in Pidgin, he said; “Me, I no dey do all this una Instagram stuff.”
“I do giveaway to places that really matter, to people that really need it and most of them are not on the i
nternet.”
