Record Maker: Cole Palmer move to surpass this Chelsea record as his fine form continues

It may be a poor season for Chelsea, but it’s definitely a brilliant season for Cole Palmer.

Cole Palmer put in a good showing yet again against Burnley, and scored both goals for Chelsea, in a disappointing 2-2 draw.

Cole Palmer has now scored 13 league goals already this season, and with Chelsea having 10 more games to play, his goal tally will definitely get higher.

Cole Palmer has already delivered a better goal record than any Chelsea player did in any season since 2019-20. This shows how much Chelsea have lacked a goalscorer.

Tammy Abraham was the last Chelsea player who scored 15 goals in the Premier League. That was in the 2019/20 season.

Palmer is two goals away from matching Tammy Abraham’s tally, and who says he can’t bag three goals to surpass Tammy Abraham’s tally?

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer was disappointed with the display against Burnley.

Speaking after the game, Palmer said: “It’s poor, really… it can’t happen. Especially when they go down to ten men.

“We got too comfortable. Same story, we kill ourselves every week. It’s got to improve from us as players. We need consistency.”
