Revealed: Conor Gallagher only condition to remain at Chelsea

Conor Gallagher has been the topic for discussion for some time among Chelsea fans, as his future remains uncertain.

There’s been a lot of talk in the media this year regarding what will happen with Blues midfielder Conor Gallagher, whose current deal at Stamford Bridge is due to expire at the end of next season.

Gallagher’s future will definitely be sorted at the end of the season – and he’d either be sold or have his contract extended.

Conor Gallagher has remained mute over his future, as the likes of Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Fulham all want him. One thing is however certain – Gallagher loves Chelsea and plays with his heart in each game.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, has played down talks that Gallagher wants a huge salary offer. The 24-year-old only wants his future sorted out, and would love to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to Caughtoffside’s Substack newsletter The Daily Briefing, Romano said: “I’m aware that there have been claims about Conor Gallagher’s salary demands being a problem for Chelsea and holding up an agreement over a new contract.

“My understanding, however, is that it’s not about Gallagher asking for crazy money or anything unreasonable for his new deal.”

“What I’m told is that it’s about Chelsea deciding what they want to do with Gallagher and also taking into account the Financial Fair Play situation, but saying that Gallagher is asking for ‘too high’ salary is not accurate as far as I understand.”
