Rio Ferdinand shares who he thinks will win the Premier League this season

The current Premier League season has witnessed an intense competition for the title, involving Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City.

Arsenal reclaimed the top position in the standings on Wednesday night, accumulating 68 points from 30 matches after their victory against Luton Town.

Meanwhile, Liverpool currently holds the second position in the standings with a total of 67 points earned from 29 games. On the other hand, Manchester City has also accumulated 67 points, but they have played one more match, totaling 30 games.

If Manchester City, the current championship holders, were to win again, they would achieve a historic feat by becoming the first club in the history of English football to secure four consecutive titles.

Meanwhile, Arsenal would secure their first title since 2004, when Arsene Wenger’s ‘Invincibles’ completed an entire season without losing a single league game.
If Liverpool triumphs this term, they will secure their 20th English crown, thereby reaching the same number of titles as Manchester United.

Additionally, the Reds have the extra motivation of wanting to give Klopp a flawless farewell by securing their second title since 1990, both of which would have been achieved under his leadership.
