Luis Diaz equalized for Liverpool against Brighton this afternoon, displaying his predatory instincts.

Just before the half-hour mark, the Reds leveled the score after coming from behind in less than two minutes thanks to a goal from Danny Welbeck.

Joel Veltman mishandled a corner kick from the home team, allowing the Colombian forward to seize the ball and put it past Bart Verbruggen at close range.

Players from Brighton yelled for offside, but a quick VAR review verified Diaz’s goal.
