WHY PEOPLE RUSH IN AND OUT OF MARRIAGES

They do not prepare adequately for it, especially the challenges that must of neccessity test the authenticity of every lover in a marriage bound relationship.

There is no challenge-free marriage. Every marriage faces storms, oppositions, attacks, pressure, spiritual battles and what have you.

I do not mean to scare you, that is just reality. The euphoria of honeymoon will wear out. The excitement of the wedding ring and being called a “Mrs” will soon fade. The thrill of being pregnant for your husband will soon disappear. The excitement of being seen as a husband and a daddy will soon calm down, what will be left is your strong belief core values and character.

People rush in and out of marriages when they see their spouse’s weaknesses, face challenges and boredom sets in. That is when you hear the husband is having an affair, in-laws are interferring in the marriage, tempers are flying, violence is taking place and both of them go their seperate ways.

Have a balanced view of marriage before you settle down. Learn good relationship skills especially conflict resolution skill. Read good books, listen to godly tapes and study God’s word.

You can enjoy heaven on earth in your marriage despite the challenges and storms. God has given you all the tools you need to succeed. Use them. God bless you.
