Peter Gregory Obi, the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party (LP) candidate in the 2023 presidential election, recently revealed that he is facing significant challenges at the hands of the government. Speaking to his supporters on the media platform Parallel Facts, he expressed the difficulties he has encountered. Obi had previously announced his intention to address the public on this platform.
In a post on his page, Obi informed Nigerians about his scheduled engagement on Parallel Facts, set for Friday, March 29, 2024, at 7 pm. However, during the event, he disclosed that he is undergoing hardships imposed by the government. He hinted at the severity of his situation, suggesting that if he were to fully disclose the details, people would question why he has not taken to the streets in protest.
According to Obi, “Dear Nigerians, I wish to remind you of my scheduled X space engagement with you on Parallel Facts tomorrow, Friday, 29 March 2024 by 7pm”.
Parallel Facts quoted Obi as saying, “If I tell you what I’m going through in the hands of the government, you will tell me why am I not on the street shouting”.
