Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, has taken proactive measures to alleviate the economic hardship faced by her constituents by distributing six trucks of grains.
The distribution, comprising 7,200 bags of rice, beans, and millet, was carried out across the 57 Wards spanning the five local government areas within the senatorial district.
Beneficiaries of this initiative cut across various sectors of the community, including the Muslim and Christian communities, drivers’ unions, okada/keke unions, mechanics’ unions, pensioners, as well as the Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba communities.
Senator Natasha emphasized that the distribution was intended to benefit all constituents, regardless of their political affiliations. She pledged to continue her efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy to her constituents, striving to address their needs and improve their welfare.
